I saw this adorble santa outfit and thought it would look great on my 8 month old. With her chubby cheeks I always say she looks like Santa so this outfit is very fitting for her. This will be her very first Christams.

Every time I tried to take her picture she would close her eyes because she new the flash was coming. If you look at the first picture her eyes are wide open but after that first one she new what was coming. It was so adorable to watch. Babys are so smart and catch on so quick. Vintage Tags are all the Rage!

Vintage seems to be the popular word these days. I never thought that I would be a vintage type of girl. I always loved modern and new. But as I mature I seem to like the classics and the tradional. Hence my love for vintage art. I started making Vintage tags and gifts and I can not seem to get enough. I had a blast shopping for vintage items to add to my creations like lace, fabrics and trim. You can see how I added these to my creation here. Please let me know what you think. Here are some photos of what I have been up to.

My family and I were at the mall yesterday and we noticed that the Christams decorations were up already. They seem to start earlier and earlier every year. Well I also started early by creating some Christams Gift tags. I added Mica Flakes to these tags.

Mica is a group of natural rock forming minerals that is found in all three rock types. You can see silvery mica minerals in your sidewalks. The mineral flake off in thin transparent sheets that are generally flexible and brittle, but very durable. Mica is also called "Vintage Mica Snow" and it was used on ornaments as snow dating back to the 1900s. Mica flakes and it vintage old look make it as if the item adorned with it has been pasted down from generation. Find it on many of my Christmas tags and vintage tags in my Etsy shop.

I just created these childrens ABC composition books. Reminded me of the olden days like Little House on the Prairie. I included a place to write with chalk on the inside fron cover. I just found out from my 8 year old that they do not have chalk boards in the class rooms anymore. The teachers use white, dry eraser boards. Wow, I never noticed. I have decided to go vintage. It seems to be the latest craze and I love it. I spend almost 3 weeks in Europe this summer with my family and most of the time was in Paris, France. We all love Fench and French style. Boy do these French people know fashion. So its only natural for me to be inspired by them. The Vintage tags and Muslin ribbons I worked on this weekend and listed on Etsy was all French inspired. I used French script, The Eifell Tower, fleur de lis and more. One of our sight seeing spot in France was Versailles. It was beautiful and very Elegant and VINTAGE. Thus the inspiration. I hope you enjoy the items I created and get a little inspiration yourself. Please do not forget to scroll down to see the blog candy!This ensamble took me 4 hours to make but I had so much fun. I just got this Pop-Up stamp and I was dying to use it. It was easier than I thought but time consuming because the pop-up is 3 layers high and I needed to fill each layer. I love the way it turned out.

I figured this cannot be mailed in an envelope so I decided to make a box for it.
I used copic markers and I air brushed the inside background. Wow, what a stuning result. The outside lily flower I had made a few days ago using Spellbinders and was not sure how I was going to use it.

My baby girl is now 6 months old and we just had her christened in NJ. While we were there we saw many good friends and family. I am in the process of making the Thank you cards. I have attach a few for you to see. Please let me know what you think. Many of the cards I made are uniform but I chose to make a few different ones like the cute Tilda you see here. Here is another class kit you can find at Creative Design Boutique. I have 3 girls so it is very natural for me to think soft, pink and Chic so I Created this layout. I love making purses as I have mentioned before. I wanted to use folds so I box pleated the paper then decided I can use it as a pleated skirt. And, what Fashionista does not need a matching purse. This purse opens to hold some of your favorite memorabilia. The layout is doused with flowers to give it that extra fashion flair.

I made this card by coloring on the stamp and used my copics to add more shading. I have not done this technique for a while, It was fun. I wanted to color the image but when I stamped it, it was already pretty darkly filled in. I love the way it turned out. Please check out more of my creation in my Etsy Shop.

I am so excited, I just finished designing my blog. Please leave a comment with your email and let me know what you think. Now on a more sad note: My brother had a very bad accident 2 weeks ago in CA and he is in Critical care. I found out today that he had been taken off the resperator but can not speak yet and is not fully alert. The nurse said he should get better my Thanksgiving. Please remember him in your prayers. I will continue to give updates on his condition. I made the following card in his honor and I wrote the following poem.

"I shall use my strength, hope and faith to overcome my fears and I must show courage to my Loving family and friends to help support them during these trying times. In this my determination is crucial to survive."

I found this template here: The watering can is a template from sammy_nab on Splitcoaststampers (http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...d.php?t=432247 ). I thought it was the cuties thing ever. I uses Anna Griffin's Flora collection to make it. I was able to use 1 sheet of 12X12 to make the entire project with the punched out flowers and all.

We are currently cleaning out a lot of our inventory because we are starting to add new products. In order to clean out the old products, we put together some huge Scrap Packs full of our products. I love this cute image from Magnolia, Tilda Holding A rose. I used Tempting Tourquoise, Apricot Appeal, Vanilla and DCWV desigenr paper. Other tools used are Martha Stewart Border Punch, Spellbinders, Cuttlebug and for the coloring and shading I used Copic markers. Copic are my favorite coloring medium. I had a special request to create this box to hold a 12X12 scrapbook. A grandmother who was very ill wanted to make a scrapbook and give it to her grandchildren as a gift to remember her by. A box this big is very difficult to find so I actually built the entire structure myself and then decorated it.
